Nuits-Saint-Georges 2024
Nuits-Saint-Georges is one of those magical names that visitors recite like a rosary. Known the whole world over, Nuits-Saint-Georges has the original profile of a genuine
wine village, but on the scale of a small town.
Origin
Half way between Dijon and Beaune, and with an eastern exposure, the vines of Nuits-Saint-Georges extend for 6 kilometres and cover 160 hectares of the village appellation. The local variation in soils, exposure and location produce a great diversity of terroir. The area as a whole is bisected by the little Meuzin river and its valley, and by the village itself.
For the 2024 vintage, this cuvée is a blend of two parcels: Belle Croix and Charbonnières.

Vintage
Elegant and Structured
The 2024 vintage, marked by limited sunshine and frequent rainfall, required constant attention in the vineyard. At Les Ursulines, meticulous sorting allowed the selection of the most promising grapes (with very low yields in red), fully expressing the qualitative potential of the harvest. The result meets our highest expectations: the whites display beautiful freshness and acidity, while the reds reveal intense fruit character and supple tannins.
Ageing potential: from 6 to 9 years.
Tasting notes
With its bright, clear ruby color, this wine reveals an expressive nose with peppery and vanilla notes, carried by an elegant bouquet of black fruits blending blackcurrant and blackberry. On the palate, it seduces with its freshness and light texture. A Nuits-Saint-Georges full of finesse and lightness, with a delicate and refined expression.
