Origin

Located near Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Chorey-Lès-Beaune lies at the bottom of the slope. Though it has only recently gained recognition (1969), Chorey-Lès-Beaune is a unique appellation as 2/3 of its vines are planted on the flatlands. Located at the foot of the hill and above the national road. This climate is made up of 2 different plots.
It is certainly the difference in height between the parcels bearing this name and the village below on flat land, that is evoked in the second word of this place name: mont.
No doubt Beau is the qualifying adjective that highlights the quality of these parcels and of the wine produced on this slope!

Vintage

Elegant and Structured
The 2024 vintage, marked by limited sunshine and frequent rainfall, required constant attention in the vineyard. At Les Ursulines, meticulous sorting allowed the selection of the most promising grapes (with very low yields in red), fully expressing the qualitative potential of the harvest. The result meets our highest expectations: the whites display beautiful freshness and acidity, while the reds reveal intense fruit character and supple tannins.
Ageing potential: between 6 to 9 years.

Tasting notes

With a beautiful garnet robe, this wine displays a complex and spicy nose, combining a bouquet of small dark fruits with peppery notes and a delicate touch of oak. On the palate, the acidity brings tension to a ripe and upright structure. The tannins, present yet well-integrated, give the wine an overall balanced framework.
