Vosne-Romanée
Les Jacquines 2024
Vosne-Romanée is a mythical place. This modest village (in size) is home to
some of Burgundy’s most prestigious Grands Crus…
Origin
The village is located at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, between Vougeot and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The vines grow at an ideal altitude of approximately 250 metres and cover just over 150 ha.
"Les Jacquines" is located south of the appellation, Nuits-Saint-Georges side, and this is the name of a land that has certainly belonged to Mr Jacquinot de Richemont, a memeber of Parliament from Dijon who, as far as we know, was a big land owner in the lieux-dits neighbouring "La Tâche".

The grapes were handpicked. They were sorted a first time in the vineyard and again on the sorting table when they arrived at the winery.
At the winery: the grapes were 100% destemmed but not crushed and were gravity-fed into tanks. Maceration of 18 days of which 23 days cold (12 ° C): Fermentation used indigenous yeasts only (no additives such as enzymes or tannins were used). 3 punchings of the cap.
Ageing
Maturation: Aged for 8 months on lees in 300L barrels without racking, using 100% new oak.
Barrels: French oak barrels that had been toasted at low temperatures for a long time for very delicate oaking.
Bottling
Bottling: by gravity on July 3, 2025, unfined wine, light lenticular filtration.
Number of bottles: 387.
Vintage
Elegant and Structured
The 2024 vintage, marked by limited sunshine and frequent rainfall, required constant attention in the vineyard. At Les Ursulines, meticulous sorting allowed the selection of the most promising grapes (with very low yields in red), fully expressing the qualitative potential of the harvest. The result meets our highest expectations: the whites display beautiful freshness and acidity, while the reds reveal intense fruit character and supple tannins.
Ageing potential: between 6 to 9 years.

Tasting notes
This wine displays a bright ruby color and reveals a bouquet of black fruits, subtly enhanced by spicy notes that add complexity. On the palate, it is generously fruity, supported by a saline framework and a flavorful finish.
