When making wine, everything starts with the vines. As well we look forward a grape quality as close as possible to our requirements. To achieve this goal, our 'viniculturist' works in close cooperation with various distinguished viticulturists - and this has helped to establish trust-based relationships with the growers themselves, based on nurturing soil and plants by means of the daily monitoring of vines in every parcel.
The requirements for this are very precise: controlled yields, debudding, cluster thinning and organic cultivation for some of our appellations. The common pursuit of excellence brings benefits to everyone. The grower sharpens his skills and makes the most of his resources; for our part, we improve our chances of obtaining high-quality grapes which reflect their terroirs well and offer the potential of great wines in the future.
